Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the areas of education, non-profit, government and community organizing. Karen has a wealth of leadership and programmatic experience having served in the Inland Empire, Tallahassee, Florida, and Washington, D.C. where she has impacted countless lives through philanthropic efforts and educational programs.

Karen Suarez is the daughter of immigrants and a first generation college graduate from California State University, San Bernardino; she has a dual bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development, and a Masters of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University.

Karen resides in Southern California with her husband, Victor, and daughter, Maia. Her passions are education and philanthropy, two forces that will always keep on giving.
