Steven Whitehead, PE, is the President of Vanir Construction Management, Inc.  In this role, he is responsible for setting policies and strategic direction for the company in nine geographic regions across the United States. It is his responsibility to ensure the company meets its business objectives and follows its mission, policies and procedures.

 

Mr. Whitehead has over forty years of experience in the design and construction industry, working with both private and public sector clients.  He joined Vanir in 2009 as Project Director, swiftly moving through the ranks as Sacramento Area Manager and Northern California Regional Manager.  Appointed to Chief Operating Officer in 2015, Mr. Whitehead led company-wide operations and managed the departments responsible for the support of project teams.

 

Mr. Whitehead holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Construction Manager.
