"Pathways to Success" Fundraiser

​The Vanir Foundation celebrated their annual “Pathways to Success” fundraiser on Saturday, October 24th. Guest enjoyed wine tasting, fabulous food, live music and a special tennis exhibition. The keynote speaker, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, said “there is nothing more important than providing our children a pathway to success. Sacramento Kings player, Kosta Koufos was among the other celebrities that took part in this fundraiser for deserving children in underserved communities of Sacramento. Along with Sacramento Kings player, Kosta Koufos and Vanir Foundation Chairman, Dorene Dominguez who said, "Join us in supporting our educational achievement programs that prepare elementary school students with 21st century skills," helped celebrate the evening. Proceeds from this event go to support the Vanir Foundation's goal to provide "Pathways to Success" that prepare underserved elementary school students with the resources, experiences and skills they need to succeed. Through the support of the Vanir Construction Management, Inc., Vanir Development Company and Sacramento Kings Foundation including sponsors; Umpqua Bank, Association of California School Administrators, California Latino Superintendents Association, EPIC Brokers, Gallina, LLP, Alvarez-Glasman and Colvin, Elevators Etc., James & Terri Ramos, Jones Lang LaSalle, Larry & Christine Garcia, Placer Valley Tourism, TRI Commercial, Turner Construction Company and Vince & Shana McLaughlin "gracias" for giving back to our community and investing in our students' future. Our special thanks to Alex and Jacque Leon for hosting the event at their home.
